Watch Hill Wedding | Rhode Island Seaside Nuptials

It was all by chance that I met Jennifer and Frankie. I answered their wedding request on Gigmasters in the dead of winter in 2014 and they hired me soon after for their June wedding in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. And y'all, this wedding was gorgeous!!

A private home set back off the beach, just a short distance from Taylor Swift's digs in Watch Hill, was the setting for their intimate ceremony and reception. June 7, 2014 these two love birds said their "I dos" on a crystal clear, beautiful summer day. Their ceremony took place on the sweeping lawn overlooking the ocean. It truly showed Jennifer & Frankie's personality - intimate, sweet and playful. Instead of rice, these two opted for small beach balls to be thrown as they went in for the first kiss. Their sweet dog Roxy even got to join in on the ceremony.

All the details of the day were accounted for.  Frankie received Rhode Island cufflinks from Jennifer and Jennifer received a beautiful bracelet. Purple accents were worked into the theme, my favorite being her purple Tom's wedges. Their dog Roxy was also all decked out for the occasion in her "I do too" bandana.

The reception was idyllic and simply a celebration of love, family and being together. Guests danced to the band out on the patio, relaxed by the fire pit, and made quick trips out to the beach to take in the views. Dark and Stormy cocktails and New England beers were served out on the patio. Avenue N catered the reception with a beautiful spread, including passed lobster rolls and sliders. No cake for these two! Dessert was the couple's favorite: milk and warm chocolate chip cookies! Beautiful peonies scattered the reception and bouquets thanks to the lovely Michelle at Metamorphosis

After the first dances, Jennifer, Frankie and I set off to the beach for a more intimate photo session. These two make each other laugh and that is what I love about them. Most couples get all serious and posed for this portion of the wedding photos, but these two let loose. It makes my job even easier when couples can truly be themselves and just enjoy this special day of joining two lives into one.

The weather, the atmosphere, the vibes - it could not have been better! The day went off without a hitch:)
