Kelsey + Nick | Glen Manor House Wedding

rainbow for good luck for the bride and groom I have been itching to share Kelsey and Nick's dreamy Glen Manor House Wedding on the blog this week! Not only is Glen Manor House my favorite venue to photograph (cue the picturesque garden, sweeping landscape, killer sunsets off the dock and romantic estate), but this couple made it even more memorable.

Meet Kelsey & Nick! These two have a pretty sweet love story. They actually went to the same high school, but didn't hit it off until after college when they ran into each other while working at Newport Hospital. After a few Instagram messages exchanged, a first date followed and the next thing you know Nick is proposing on the slopes at Sugarloaf Mountain in the most romantic of settings.

Kelsey and Nick are one of those couples who are always smiling and sharing their joy of life with others. As an obstetric nurse and police officer, Kelsey and Nick are nurturers, protectors, and just lovely people to get to know. It was an absolute honor and joy to capture their special day and get to know their families and friends.

Their Glen Manor House wedding was such a reflection of the two of them. Family and friends were at the center, followed by all the pretty details - custom coozies, gorgeous peony bouquets, family heirloom touches, and custom corn hole boards for their home state of Rhode Island and current state of North Carolina. We also encountered just about every weather situation possible - sun, rain, thunder, and finally a rainbow (a sign of something good!) and these two just rolled with it from the start.

Congratulations Kelsey & Nick! May you always make each other smile as much as you did on your wedding day!
