Pam + Nick | Providence Engagement Session

Pam and Nick contacted me back in January and were eager to book a winter inspired engagement session at Yawgoo Mountain! Needless to say with this warm winter we’ve had in New England, when the date approached, there was no snow on the ground. We had to come up with a backup plan and for one reason or another we ended up in the heart of Providence at the Rhode Island State House. That Saturday was as crisp and beautiful as ever – a blue bird kind of day. The State House in Providence also proved to be the perfect venue to capture some special moments for this sweet couple and to celebrate their engagement.

Providence Engagement at the State House

What I love most about the State House is the versatility. I can photograph every aspect of this building – from the arches, to the surrounding trees, to the striking building itself, its hard to get a bad shot. I love a setting where I can pick shade or sun as well, and the State House offers a little bit of everything on a sunny day!

It was such a joy to capture Pam and Nick’s love for one another that day - a perfect Providence Engagement Session. You can tell right away that these two have such fun together and genuinely enjoy each other’s company.  Pam’s bubbly personality is the perfect match for Nick’s laid back and reserved demeanor. These two have a partnership and respect for one another, which is so important when embarking on this path towards marriage.
