Not only was the Rhode Island Fall Minis at Fort Adams amazing, but these mini sessions at Prescott Farm in Portsmouth, RI screamed fall. Owned by the Newport Restoration Foundation, Prescott Farm is one of my favorite places to photograph, hands down. From the 1812 windmill, colorful herb garden and historic landscape, this location has so many options and places to entertain the kids. The leaves were absolutely spectacular on this overcast Sunday afternoon. We could not have been more lucky! These 30 minute sessions were perfect for these young families. As you can imagine, keeping these kiddos attention is one tough job and we had to keep moving in order to capture some great moments.
The Day family became one of our first friends when my husband and I settled in Rhode Island a few years ago. They welcomed baby "C" just this past March and we could not adore her more. Her fierce blue eyes, laid back personality and genuine happiness makes you want to eat her up. We call her the "trick baby" and not only does she hardly ever cry, but her favorite thing to do right now is clap her hands and giggle - it might just be the cutest thing ever. I love this family so much and could not be more honored to capture their special moments together!
And my last family of the day for my Rhode Island Fall Minis at Prescott Farm was the Ouellette family. I captured them 2 years ago around this time on one of the coldest & windiest days at the beach. Poor "A" was FREEZING, so this time around we went where the wind would not blow! And we grabbed some great shots of this spunky, wild & crazy four year old. She certainly is a mix of her momma & daddy and I loved spending some time with these three running around the grounds of Prescott Farm. Make sure you check out this stylish four year olds tights…how cute is that teddy bear:)
