I am literally mortified that my last blog post was on July 2! As in, almost 4 months ago. Yikes!! Where did the time go??
I have just unearthed myself from summer family portraits and weddings and am now reveling in the glorious fall colors and the dreamy golden light. I will get back to those amazing summer shots, but first I am going to hop into the current season of fall and share a fun Tiverton Family Portrait I did this month with the D family.
Lindsay and Allen got married 4 years ago at a private beach in Tiverton, Rhode Island, so when we went to pick a location for their first family shoot since the wedding, it was an obvious choice! This beautiful stone beach leads along the Sakonnet River with sweeping views of the sea and a New England lighthouse as the backdrop. With all the fall foliage and the setting sun, we could not get a bad shot. It also doesn't hurt that their two children Sophie and Tyler are beyond cute. Not to mention totally sweet and in love with their family.
Can you stand how cute they are?? Little Tyler's grin got me - he was a little timid at first but then got the hang of the whole photo thing. Sophie on the other hand was ready to go. She knew all the poses and wanted to be front and center! She even brought her Victoria Secret's lip gloss for touchups. I wish I had been as adorable and fashionable at 8 years old!
These cuties also love their grandmother "Meme" who also happens to be my next door neighbor! Stephanie is the sweetest and I was so honored to be able to capture she and her grandkids. They spend a lot of time with her and the love for one another is evident.
The house on the private beach is nothing but spectacular as well and we were fortunate enough to use their sprawling lawn after we'd had enough of the sand, water and rocky beach. We grabbed some great shots of the D family as the sun was setting. There is nothing better than a Tiverton Family Portrait shoot!
We got some sweet shots of these two and their parents…and then it was a WRAP! These kiddos were champs and I had a blast with the D family in our hometown of Tiverton, Rhode Island!
